I dont have an IEP or a 504 i can only talk about my expieriences being in a class with kids that had both. The teachers were nice to the Disabled kids but... i was always sat next to them, wich i didnt mind at one point tho the aids started relying on me to help the Kids in my class and stopped helping them as much, whenever seating charts changed i would still be sat next to them wich meant i was getting bullied because kids assumed i was an IEP kid. I didnt let them bully the others because i was able to stand up for myself but i feel that if i hadnt been treated as an IEP helper or babied ( yes they were babied wich is bad enough already) just as much as them i wouldve been able to learn more. I want to clarify that i told the teachers on different occasions that i did not want to help them anymore because i was exhausted i was 9 i was not quallified to help them and i was still friends with them even if i wouldnt have helped them with school work. I was also punched by them several times and i had teachers tell me that i had to let them punch and kick me because they didnt know better. They couldve taught them better. I really enjoyed spending time with them on breaks and letting my anger out on kids that tried to bully them but it shouldnt have been my responsibility to care for them during lessons.

It’s not really that strange. She’s a microcosm of who gets the most attention online irl. Cute girls. It was everywhere and people really like to be part of what’s considered cool. It might sound childish but that’s pretty much how a lot of things are online. The crazier thing is she wants to be famous. And it’s not impossible for her to continue to get attention, but she would probably have to keep doing more attention grabbing things. Nobody really wants to get to know her. Which is fine because she honestly doesn’t seem that interesting. I only get mad at attractive women getting attention because there are interesting and talented women out there, yet it seems imbalanced how much attention attractive women get. And it’s not just from men. It’s from a large part women. Call Her Daddy is a great example. If you listen to that show, these girls aren’t funny, interesting, or endearing to a lot of people. But they have cultivated attention and a fanbase that is all about women being unabashedly themselves from the point of view of a hot girl. So that tricks listeners into thinking the podcasts are funny. I mean, have y’all listened to podcasts with actually funny and interesting women?

The “barely qualifies for an IEP” comment really rubbed me the wrong way. I have never had an IEP but I did have a 504 from the start of middle school onward. Even if a student doesn’t use everything in their document, it’s still there for a reason. I didn’t ever really need to use the things in my 504 but my parents and I appreciated having them there just in case I did. I’m grateful that my teachers were always super helpful and accommodating when I needed it and encouraged me to ask for help when I needed it (something that I had some trouble doing especially in middle school). To say someone “barely qualifies” is incredibly dismissive and makes students reluctant to ask for help which could put them even more behind than they already are.

Children should not be allowed in reality shows. Period.

I feel like it's important to note that there is no scientific evidence that porn is addictive or that porn addiction is real. People who suffer from "porn addictions" don't consume porn more than those who don't; they just have stronger feelings of guilt about it. The last man does have some issues to work through when it comes to viewing older women, but it just sounds like he might not be sexually attracted to her, and I think it's weird that people see it as a character flaw.

I love you guys and just wanna inform anyone in the comments. Strictness or wtv, though more prominent in conservative families, CAN happen on both sides. I know because I’m in one. I totally get why Megan said that I have a birth defect/disability (cleft lip and palate) which totally messed up my speech and my speech counsellor told my school I needed in school speech practice. I was taken out of class once every week or two for about 30-minutes to an hour (I can’t remember it was like grade 3-5). I thought that was normal. Turns out I was supposed to be there once every day or two😃 but because my grade were almost perfect the school and teachers didn’t think it was important even though a doctor who specialized in speech therapy said I needed it😭😭

I literally don’t understand why anyone would ever want to be “not like other girls”. Judging only from the statements made in his videos, it appears that he feels that he has the right to treat his partner like this, and it is normal to show that in public. The beliefs about rights and responsibilities specifically in romantic (or other) relationships shown in male domestic abusers is that the abuser has the right to act in harmful or abusive ways to their partner and it is the victim’s responsibility to accept that. This belief demonstrated by Spencer when he stated that he would keep his partner in a basement as well as other notable comments such as the mentions of looking through their phone or restricting their social connections. He believes that he has the right to control his partner like this, and it is their responsibility to accept it and abide by his “rules”. That may be why he makes such outrageous (to us) claims about keeping and controlling women. He doesn’t see any wrong in what he is doing, even though he is “allegedly” exploiting and abusing women, including his romantic partner. This pattern of behavior, although often seen as just rage bait or confirmation bias for other misogynistic people on the internet, are very concerning signs to someone who studies criminal psychology. He does not abide by the modern standards of society and threatens often to break the law (calling men weak and saying he could beat them up and humiliate them, talking about holding a woman possibly against her will). This makes him very dangerous to any current or future romantic partners because he does not care that his actions can have consequences. He believes that what he is doing is right, and he is unlikely to change his views. He will continue to objectify, abuse, and control the women around him until he is either dead or in prison. This is just my opinion based off my prior knowledge and experiences. I have no idea how he acts in real life, and even then (as is common with manipulators and abusers), he may portray himself in different lights to different peer groups. We might never know what the real Spence is like until it’s too late. My best wishes to his girlfriend and anyone else who is or has been in a relationship with someone like him. I wish I had an IEP - I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 when I was 27 but had symptoms as early as my sophomore year of HS. I also displayed signs of autism specifically in interpersonal interactions. I never got that support because I was one of the school’s highest performing AP students with a GPA of 4.8 my two last semester of HS. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in retrospect though, I’m largely ambivalent and forgiving of my teachers. They were other late Boomers or Elder Gen-X’ers with little to no understanding of what I was going through. They’re also going through a tremendous amount of stress trying to get hundreds of kids to the next grade and to pass state testing. On top of that, each student represents a unique set of social circumstances that only complicates the teacher’s academic goals. Compassion fatigue is real and there’s only so much to go around. Teachers will naturally be more frustrated by the students who act out. Thankfully my bipolarity made me shut down and quiet vs manic and tumultuous.
